hot sand grains lodge between your toes --- but its alright
you close your eyes, and inhale for a moment to take it all in, and when you open your eyes - 10 familiar faces are standing in front of you smiling
inviting you to join them and the rest of the family for some ackee and saltfish, mackerel and banana, curried goat and rice & peas, plaintain . . . .
